Reconciliation for a Sustainable Project
The AVICO partnership is committed to implementing the project in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner, in line with the Erasmus+ priority on environment and the fight against climate change. Throughout all project phases, partners aim to minimise the environmental footprint of project management, cooperation, learning activities, dissemination and exploitation of results.
To achieve this, the consortium applies a digital-first approach, prioritising online communication, paperless document exchange, digital learning resources and online dissemination whenever possible. Physical meetings and events are organised only when they bring clear added value, and partners are encouraged to choose more sustainable travel options, including public transport, shared mobility and efficient travel planning.
In the organisation of meetings, training activities and multiplier events, partners seek to reduce waste, avoid single-use plastics, limit unnecessary printing, and use reusable or recycled materials where possible. Whenever feasible, local services and suppliers are preferred in order to reduce transport-related impact and support local communities.
The project also promotes sustainability through its results. By developing open, reusable and digitally accessible educational resources, AVICO contributes to more resource-efficient learning and reduces the need for repeated production of printed materials. This approach supports both environmental responsibility and long-term accessibility of project outcomes.
All partners share responsibility for applying these principles in their daily project work and for encouraging environmentally conscious behaviour throughout the implementation of AVICO.
