AVICO project and Drone League project
How to connect high school pupils, university students, coding and drones?
We have a solution. Through the AVICO project and Drone League project.
SStudents of the Šibenik School of Economics, under the expert guidance of computer science teacher Ivan Krnčević, have established their school as a leader in the field of extracurricular activities related to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Through active participation in the Drone League project, students systematically acquire advanced knowledge in the domain of unmanned systems, positioning the Šibenik School of Economics as one of the educational institutions in Croatia that has successfully integrated this innovative practice into its curriculum.
As part of the Erasmus+ project AVICO – Coding Training with Aviation Technologies, led by the Šibenik University of Applied Sciences, a partnership was established with the Šibenik School of Economics. This collaboration promotes creative and innovative thinking, enhances problem-solving capabilities, and provides students with an excellent opportunity to acquire STEM skills and gain practical experience through working with the latest technological solutions.
These projects encourage interdisciplinary learning, strengthen digital competencies, and bridge secondary and higher education with a common goal – preparing young people to meet the technological challenges of the future.
