Šibenik-Knin County Prefect Paško Rakić, accompanied by Head of the Administrative Department for Education, Science, Culture, Sports and New Technologies Tomislav Ninić, visited Šibenik School of Economics, where students and teachers presented their ongoing projects and achievements.

During the visit, particular attention was given to the school’s participation in the Drone League project, in which it has been actively involved for the fourth consecutive year. Through this initiative, students gain practical knowledge in unmanned aerial vehicle technologies (drones), while also developing teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

The visit also highlighted the school’s collaboration within the AVICO – Coding Training with Aviation Technologies project, implemented in partnership with Šibenik University of Applied Sciences. As part of this Erasmus+ project, innovative teaching modules are being developed to enhance students’ knowledge and competencies in the field of aviation technologies, particularly unmanned aerial systems.

This visit further underlined the importance of connecting education with emerging technologies and fostering partnerships that equip students with relevant, future-oriented skills.
